Hover Manor Senior Apartments were established by the Hover family in 1979, for independent seniors over the age of 62 years. The Hover family goal for serving the community was to offer a dignified, comfortable residence for seniors on fixed incomes. The 120 units in the Hover Manor are all 560 square foot one-bedroom apartments in two five-story buildings. H.U.D. section 8 rent vouchers are accepted at Hover Manor.
Features and Benefits:
Each one-bedroom apartment features a living room and dining area, kitchen with appliances, full bathroom and spacious bedroom. Both the living room and bedroom have large picture windows. Each apartment has four closets as well as additional seasonal storage. Hover Manor pays all utilities including a premium cable television subscription. Residents arrange for their own telephone service. Each apartment has its own heating and air-conditioning controls.
Rental rates range from $685 - $840 per month.
Professional dining services are provided in the Sylvan Café. Each resident enrolls at a minimum monthly participation level of $175 which allows residents the flexibility and variety of restaurant-style dining for luncheon meals, evening meals and weekend brunches.
Activities and parties at Hover Manor are coordinated as a cooperative effort between staff, volunteers and residents. The residents also maintain and manage the Hover Manor Library, the Computer Center and the Hospitality Center. Exercise groups, craft groups and card clubs meet regularly at Hover Manor.
Amenities include a coin-operated laundry and a Beauty/Barber Shop that are conveniently located on the second floor. The first floor features a mail center, library, computer center and Hospitality Center.
Sunday services in our All Faiths Chapel are a time for residents to enjoy spiritual enrichment and all denominations are welcome.
Transportation to Longmont appointments and shopping centers is provided for an affordable fee.
Hover Manor enrolls all residents in the Longmont United Hospital Prestige Plus ( 1.53MB)…a senior wellness program. Prestige Plus members have access to two wellness clinic each month as well as discounts on goods and services purchased at Longmont United Hospital facilities.
